SOMETHING 2 CHEW ON:
CREATIVE PLAY WORKSHOPS
Mind
Body
Soul
Something 2 Chew On is a project focused on creating community spaces where adults can engage in creative play: creativity for the pure joy of it, without worrying about the outcome.
Our mission is to teach people how to enjoy the process and to give participants' minds, bodies, and souls a little something to chew on. It’s all about letting go, embracing playfulness, and reconnecting with that sense of wonder and curiosity we often lose as adults.

Senstations
Senstations
Senstations, was a co-created and co-curated pop-up exhibition and workshop centered around the theme of the five senses. We designed five sensory “stations” that featured interactive art installations by different artists:
🎵 Sound, 👐 Touch, 👁️ Visual, 👃 Smell, and 🍋 Taste.
This format gave artists the unique opportunity to showcase their work in an experiential and interactive way, while also engaging directly with participants to hear their perspectives.

Tension & Flow
Tension & Flow
This workshop was all about the art of opposites: moving between harmony and dissonance, stillness and release, comfort and chaos. We explored how tension sharpens our attention and how flow lets us let go together creating immersive, memorable experiences.
Through a series of playful, hands-on stations, participants experimented with the push-and-pull of creativity.

Memory Tiles
In the first half of this event, we got crafty and made giant game tile sets out of various art materials (all provided), with the only rule being that they needed to be fairly obviously a pair. We then used those masterpieces to play a giant game of memory tiles.

Conceptual Event Design | Community Exchange System | Fundraiser
Bite-Sized Barter is a speculative event concept exploring alternative systems of value, exchange, and community participation. The project reframes swapping as a structured, playful, and socially intentional experience.
Rather than relying on money as the primary unit of value, the event operates through a tiered ticket system that translates objects, skills, and time into a shared currency. Participants contribute up to three pre-approved items or offerings, each assigned to one of three value tiers. These range from physical goods (books, clothing, art, baked goods) to immaterial contributions (creative services, lessons, commissions, shared meals). A maximum value cap ensures equity and prevents mismatched exchanges, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on trust and collective care.
Supplementary activations: including communal art-making, live interventions, and an auction of donated works create moments of friction, delight, and shared authorship.
By merging systems design, participatory art, and social play, the project positions exchange not as a transaction, but as a collective, creative act.

Felt Shapes
Felt Shapes treats the dance floor as a living system: bodies in motion, attention in circulation. The workshop invites participants to explore how movement influences, disrupts, and rewrites the collective vibe, often without anyone saying a word.
Through guided movement experiments and collaborative translation exercises, participants investigate what happens when dance is observed, reinterpreted, and physically interconnected. The result is part choreography, part social experiment, part playful mess.
